Champagne is undoubtedly a wine for celebrations, it is also a wine of tradition. To honour its ancestors, Champagne Leclerc Briant has joined into the commemoration of historic events in France and around the world.
What better presentation could be given to the wine than one celebrating our glorious past ?
The Historic Collection has been designed with this purpose in mind.
Solstice 2000 cuvée, 1990 vintage :

An
exclusive bottle produced in a numbered limited edition of
12.000 (10.000 bottles and 2.000 magnums), this cuvée
comes in a gorgeous fine gold livery, for the celebration
of the Year 2000 (Label n°7 of the Collection Historique Leclerc
Briant).
Produced from Leclerc Briant’s first growth Cumières and Hautvillers vineyards, it is a blend of 50 % Chardonnay, 50 % Pinot Noir, which will be a pleasant surprise of balance and length.
As an extra refinement, the wire cap has been replaced by a watch.

Cuvée "XVème centenaire du Baptème de Clovis",
To celebrate the 15th centenary of Clovis’s Batism, our House has enriched its Historical Collection with a special new cuvée (Label n° 6)

496 – 1996 : « 15th Centerary of Clovis’s Batism », 1988 vintage
It is made of 25 % Chardonnay and 75 % Pinot Noir, all 1988 vintages from Cumières and Hautvillers, both premier cru localities with legendary early growth and exceptional ripness.
