Demi-Sec, rich cuvée :
The
« rich cuvée » is a blend of black grapes
only (70 % Pinot Noir and 30 % Pinot Meunier). Due to a higher
dosage of liqueur, this smooth and soft wine is the sweetest
in our range. It is best served with desserts and foie gras.

Cumières Rouge
Produced from the Pinot Noir vineyards growing on mid-slope in the heart of the locality, this vintage-only wine must rest 3 to 5 years to allow for fermentations to be complete, thus avoiding too fine filtering
The presentation designed by champenois painter and engraver Roland Irolla shows the Cumières Premier Cru at the foot of the vineyard on the banks of the river Marne.
Tasting
An intense deeply red ruby colour. The nose reveals a mature wine with notes of candied fruit, cherries and prunes in brandy and licorice. Woody, vegetable notes (vine shoots) and coconut fibres also appear.
In the mouth, attack is rather supple ; its freshness suggests the fruitness of the nose. Tannin is discreet, supple and fused. With a good maturity, it will be best enjoyed with grilled meats, gruyère or soft cheese.
Only 40 hectolitres of vintage year Pinot Noir get on to the market (approx. 5 000 bottles) - 100 % Pinot Noir.
